The A300SM is a shock mount designed specifically for high-tier studio and live-performance microphones. With highly sensitive microphones such as the Shure KSM353, a very small stimulus can move the transducer diaphragm. This leads to higher audio quality but can also make the microphone highly sensitive to vibration, producing audible noise. This shock mount isolates mechanical vibration to ensure the highest sound quality.
