Project Portfolio

Bose Corporation In-Store Marketing Display

Bose Corporation wanted to provide a modern display for their newest audio devices including the Soundlink Color Portable Speaker, the Soundlink around-ear wireless headphones, as well as their SoundSport Wired Headphones. Starting from a design mock-up, we engineered cost effective modular displays for Bose intended for large volume manufacturing. We utilized high intensity backlighting to prominently display the graphic for each device and incorporated polished acrylic pedestals to provide translucency to the design and to create a striking appearance.

Precision Digital ProtEx-Pro Explosion-Proof Gauge

The ProtEX series of explosion-proof meters brings modern design, easy readability, and enhanced functionality to hazardous areas around the world. These explosion-proof displays and controllers have worldwide hazardous area approvals including FM, CSA, ATEX, and IECEx. They are built with great looking, modern, die-cast aluminum enclosures; and many come with SafeTouch® through-glass buttons that make it possible to program and operate the meters without having to remove the cover. The built-in mounting flanges, multiple conduit holes, and rotatable display make it easy to install and setup in the field wherever operators need an information packed, easy-to-read display. Most ProtEX meters are loop-powered which means that there is no need to run additional, costly power lines into a hazardous area.

Hamilton Storage SAM HD Automated Sampling System

The SAM HD is a low-capacity automated sample management system. SAM HD is the reliable, walkaway solution for labs seeking to transition from manual to automated sample storage. The system can process samples through the day or outside of typical work hours to maximize productivity throughout the lab. Models are available for storing samples at +4°C, −20°C, −40°C and −80°C, with capacity up to 60,000 tubes in standard racks. The sleek styling of this product included industrial design efforts and incorporated curvature in different parts of the system to add to its exotic look.

Outsite Networks Life-Sized Mobile Device

The Outsite Networks Life-sized mobile device was a marketing tool used to display software updates at various trade shows. The exterior mimicked modern mobile devices at the time and required graphical user interface efforts to assist with the industrial design. We designed and fabricated the device for Outsite Networks to leverage in an upcoming tradeshow where they held a live product demonstration.

Gamewell-FCI 7100 Series Fire Control Panel

The Gamewell-FCI 7100 Series Fire Control Panel was one of their most successful products with over 45,000 units sold. The panel featured a sleek industrial design with a modern look full of style and curvature. The product was developed for commercial usage and engineered from the ground-up including a detailed design and a layout of all assemblies/components.
