IDSA is pleased to continue its ongoing partnership with MWC Productions for Season 2 of “America by Design: Innovations“, a television show about inspiration, disruption, and changing the game through the power of design. Over 20 million combined viewers watched the Season 1 premiers of “California by Design,” “New York by Design,” and “America by Design.”
As an industry partner, IDSA works to position IDSA members and IDEA winning products on the show for their exceptional work to be broadcast into homes across the United States. A show like this advances IDSA’s advocacy mission and introduces the profession of industrial design to millions of viewers across the country. Just imagine all the creative minds who may have never heard about industrial design before this, or knew a career like this exists. Now they can be inspired to pursue a vocation in design, because of a show that demonstrates the innovation process and calls attention to the impact great design can have on everyday lives.
Now in our third year of collaboration, we’ve been continually impressed by the response the show has received from our community and the expanding audience we’ve been able to reach with each iteration.

Five episodes of America By Design Season 2 will air live in Chicago, IL, Los Angeles, CA, New York, NY, Philadelphia, PA, and San Francisco (Bay Area), CA on Saturday evenings in February-March 2022 on CBS. Check your local listings for exact times. All episodes can also be seen on YouTube after their original air date.
