A new survey wants to know just what kind of professional development would help designers advance their careers. The survey, launched by AIGA, covers skills in leadership, communication, business, digital, marketing, innovation/development, and of course, design.
“Given the rate at which the industry changes, we’d like to take a pulse of professional development and identify what training, designers are currently looking for,” says Anita Maritz, AIGA associate director, learning and development.
The survey also asks what you’re looking for when choosing a workshop or program and the format, length; time and location of the professional development; and what you would expect after undergoing the professional development.
It shouldn’t take long to answer a survey with about a dozen questions .
