IDSA Member Craig James Carlson has passed away at the age of 62, after a five-year battle with pancreatic cancer. He was born in in Brooklyn, New York on October 14, 1954. Carlson became an industrial designer and the owner of InDepth Design in Lawrence, MA which consulted everything from small partnerships/start-ups to major corporations in products and services ranging from medical instrumentation to packaging to cable management and more.
His family says Carlson stayed busy recently volunteering at The Senior Center and doing medical transports. He is survived by his wife, Ann; son, JonLars; daughter, Tristina Lawler; and grandsons. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Carlson’s name to the Sophia Gordon Cancer Center at Lahey Hospital, c/o Dr. Keith Stuart, 41 Mall Road, Burlington, MA 01805.
