Susana La Luz-Hawkins loves engaging communities to understand how design research and strategy can impact people’s daily lives and experiences. She is also passionate about facilitating others in learning how to use design research to empower their own companies and communities. She directs research teams in building methodologies and identifying patterns in order to uncover ideal experiences, unmet desires and design requirements. La Luz-Hawkins previous work spans design strategy, small business management and non-profit development. She received her MFA focusing on design thinking and design leadership from Herron School of Art and Design, Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis.
