Priyama Barua is an Experience Strategy Director at Mad*Pow – a strategic design agency focused on creating innovative experiences and compelling digital solutions in the health space. In her efforts to improve healthcare experiences, she employs a range of human-centered, experience-led, service design approaches.
With an emphasis on early stages of innovation, Priyama has been instrumental in exploring the future of how connected devices and big data can help create better clinical decisions and health outcomes. A strong advocate of human-centered Artificial Intelligence, she believes, now more than ever, that designers need to be at the center of the AI conversation, advocating for the user.
In her past lives, Priyama has been a successful entrepreneur and a college professor. She holds a Masters in Design Management and an MBA in Operations, both of which enable her to build solutions that are sustainable and scalable.
