Matt Wade is a designer whose work examines the relationship between people—and the things with which they surround themselves. He has taught extensively in the United Kingdom, and also in China and Russia.
In 2008, Wade co-founded Kin—an interaction design studio specializing in the relationship between human patterns and technology—which was nominated for Designs of Year at the Design Museum; won a D&AD Yellow Pencil; and was featured in Time magazine’s Top 10 of Everything.
In 2016, Wade became creative director of Google Creative Lab, which pushes the notion of what is possible and what is practical. Its designers, writers, programmers, filmmakers, producers and business thinkers spend 99.9 percent of their time making.
Jumping to the End
Matt Wade will discuss super fast techniques for discovery and idea validation by imagining future responses to the things we make.
