Mark Zeller, IDSA
Senior VP of Global Brands Creative
Fisher-Price
Mark Zeller, IDSA, is senior vice president of global brands creative at Fisher-Price—leading product and packaging design for the company’s portfolio of toys and parenting solutions. He is passionate about the role of the designer in the children’s space as it provides the opportunity to provide learning through play. It also allows the designer to express their creativity through a variety of product categories.
Zeller is excited about the inspirational research component, whether trend or early childhood development, in the design process. Fisher-Price is “really looking at the multiple ways to bring play and learning seamlessly to the home,” Zeller tells Fast Company.
For nearly 20 years, he has taught toy design at Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City. Zeller earned a BFA in industrial design from Cleveland Institute of Art.
