Per Magnus Skold, IDSA

Senior Designer, Mako Design + Invent Magnus’s career spans across various industries and domains, from luxury aircraft interiors to telecommunication equipment, from toys and pet products to EMP-proof phones, and enterprise level solutions. Some notable achievements include designing modular display assemblies for aircraft seats, styling business class seats for American Airlines, and executing the final design for Dell’s 14G Enterprise level servers in two weeks. Being the current Chair of the IDSA ATX chapter, Magnus helps run the “Sketchjam” Sessions, where designers can gather and sketch whatever they want outside of work hours. As a lifelong learner and a curious explorer, he is always up for talking about sketching, AI-assisted concept development, and all things industrial design. he enjoys mentoring new designers and non-designers alike on how to successfully bring a product from an initial thumbnail sketch to the final product on the shelves.
