Karim Chen was born in Dubai to an Austrian mother and Chinese father, grew up in Bangkok, and is now completing his bachelor of science in product design and a double minor in engineering product development and fine art at Drexel University in Philadelphia. Karim’s upbringing around several cultural backgrounds and environments has fueled his passion to keep exploring the world, gaining and creating new and meaningful experiences. Karim aims to use design to challenge and change people’s perceptions and realities.
