Julia Burke leads Whirlpool’s Advanced ID Studio in Chicago and Benton Harbor. Her team works to craft provocative visions that meld product, brand and service to build experiences that people love. After years as a design strategy lead in refrigeration, Burke can make your fridge look good no matter what food you’ve got in there.
Prior to Whirlpool, Burke spent six years at TEAMS Design, where she gained broad experience in product design and brand strategy while working on everything from kitchen tools to the bathroom sink (and toilet). Julia graduated from the University of Notre Dame, loves all sports from foosball to whirlyball, and can generally be heard coming from a mile away.
