Isabelle Olsson

Design Director for Google Home and Wearables Isabelle Olsson is the Design Director for the Google Home and Wearables portfolio. She also oversees CMF (Color, Material and Finish) for all of Google’s hardware. Isabelle joined Google in 2011 working inside Google[x] turning new technology into compelling prototypes. Prior to joining Google, Isabelle worked at fuseproject designing a wide variety of products, ranging from consumer electronics, exhibitions, packaging and jewelry. She has also designed several furniture pieces exhibited at Milan Furniture Fair. Isabelle grew up in Sweden and was influenced early on by Scandinavian minimalist design. She has a Masters degree in Fine Arts and Industrial Design from Lund University. She was named one of Fast Company’s most creative people in business for 2017 and was selected by Glamour magazine as one of the ‘35 Women Under 35 Who Are Changing the Tech Industry’. Her ultimate goal as a designer is to make people’s lives easier and more beautiful.
