Gabriel Ruegg, IDSA

Associate Professor, Minneapolis College of Art & Design Gabriel Ruegg is an industrial designer who has worked in a number of industries, including pet products, toys, food service hardware, and mass-market, consumer kitchen products. His practice includes nuts-and-bolts product design, sustainable design, strategy, design research, patent/IP research, branding, marketing, and UI/UX. His clients include retailers such as Williams Sonoma and Kohl’s, as well as brands like KitchenAid and Martha Stewart. Ruegg currently leads the Product Design major at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design (MCAD) as an Associate Professor. Prior to teaching at MCAD, he taught in the industrial design program at Pratt Institute (his alma mater) and at the New Jersey Institute of Technology.
