Industrial Design Lead, Omnicell
Colburn Jones leads industrial design at Omnicell. Currently, he works toward improving medication management within healthcare. Previously, he worked for Pride Mobility Products, developing powered wheelchairs and scooters.He graduated from Brigham Young University (BYU) with a BFA in Industrial Design in 1996.
As Vice Chair, Jones will focus on bringing new and relevant events to the Pittsburgh design community. He is especially interested in the advancement of industrial design as a critical business function, and infusing both creative and analytical thinking into the design process
