Mearth (Mars and Earth) was created to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Carl Sagan’s scholarly article “Planetary Engineering on Mars.” Based on NASA’s proposed five terraforming steps, Mearth incorporates tires and mobility using 4D space fabric to improve weight and durability and provide three transformable modes that make farming and movement on Mars easier.
