ESC1 works as a microgrid system to fulfill households’ extra sustainable energy needs. When a wildfire breaks out, ESC1 enables them to use the energy charged during their daily lives and collects additional solar energy to charge their devices to communicate with emergency responders. It also emits a signal to rescue helicopters, surveillance drones, and firefighters.
