Chong Kun Dang (CKD) Health has more than 80 years of history grounded on the principle of providing healthy living and well-being to its customers. The company approached the packaging design by asking, Can we provide positive energy to our customers through our design which our customers experience on a daily basis? The packaging concept was derived from the Korean terms “Chong” (the name of the company and its founder), which means ‘bell,” and “Kiwon,” which means both “origin” and “prayer of wellness.” The designers visualized these principles as a ripple effect that originates from CKD Health.
