Project Portfolio

Cellares Cell Shuttle

The Cell Shuttle is an automated and closed end-to-end manufacturing solution that is flexible and scalable, enabling customers to run the exact processes specified for their cell therapy. Compared with currently available cell therapy manufacturing methods, this next-generation platform enables a three-fold reduction in process failure rates and is capable of producing 16 patient doses in parallel, which increases manufacturing scalability by an order of magnitude. This will significantly reduce the per-patient manufacturing cost.

Aquor Comfort Grip

Aquor Water Systems is reinventing the way people access water outdoors, with a mission to design and manufacture the world’s most innovative, efficient, and well-engineered water valves. Aquor partnered with Anvil Studios to create the Aquor Comfort Grip Hose Connector, the first product introducing Aquor’s new design vision.

Baidu Smart Display

Baidu USA partnered with Anvil Studios to create reference designs for 2 smart video speaker devices. The design solutions needed to be contemporary, premium, and beautiful, while not looking like a copycat of the competition. Baidu wanted these product designs to convey a soothing, harmonious digital lifestyle accessory that appealed to female consumers, deliberately moving away from traditionally masculine CE aesthetics.

Milwaukee Wireless Jobsite Speaker

How do you develop the industrial design for a speaker that stands up to Milwaukee’s legendary standards of durability, yet stylish enough to use off the jobsite? That was the challenge for the new Milwaukee® M18/M12 Wireless Jobsite Speaker. Built to be tough enough for any jobsite, this new design delivers the durability that contractors expect from the iconic brand, with improved usability courtesy of an inspired design.

Rarecyte Cytefinder HT

Rarecyte, Inc. manufactures life science equipment that separates a single cell from billions for analysis. Their original instrument (also designed by Anvil Studios) was developed to scan, identify, and pick out cells on a single slide. This new system, the CyteFinder HT, is Rarecyte’s automated instrument designed for high-throughput, scanning up to 80 slides unattended. Rarecyte returned to Anvil Studios to create the physical user experience and industrial design for this new system.

Kestrel 4000 Timetrial

The first bike Anvil designed for Kestrel was for the premium triathlon competition market. The design needed to look bold and different while still adhering to the confines of UCI regulations. We chose a design that used knife-like edges, accentuated joints and notched-out detailing to create a profile that is bold, and instantly recognizable. The final streamlined design captures the striking visual of air flowing fast and smoothly over complex surfaces. When the Kestrel 4000LTD debuted, wind tunnel tests proved it was the most aerodynamic frame set on the market.
