Jiyeon Chun is a recent graduate of Carnegie Mellon University with a major in Product and Industrial Design and a minor in Human-Computer Interaction. A background in fine arts and sculpture makes aesthetics, craft, and conceptual meaning crucial to her practice. As a designer, she aims to give beautiful form to empathetic and effective solutions. She believes good products can change the way we relate to technology, the material world, and each other for the better. Jiyeon hopes to design objects that not only look good but also do good, establishing a meaningful impact that endures beyond the physical.
