Jesse works at the intersection of user centered design and product development—helping to marry a design vision with technical requirements to create an executable path forward. Drawing on a background in mechanical engineering he approaches projects with curiosity and technical rigor to solve structural, functional, and integration challenges.
Jesse has helped teams deliver innovative solutions for companies including Blue Origin, Starbucks, and Novo Nordisk. As a Technical Director at TEAGUE, he promotes prototyping, analytical thinking, and open exchange of ideas to drive innovation and ensure technical feasibility.
Thinking Through Making
As designers, it is incumbent on us to consistently update our tool kit and incorporate new technologies and processes to further hone our craft. Designers at the consultancy TEAGUE are constantly developing and discovering new tools to support Thinking Through Making, an approach to being design centered that focuses on using the right tool at the right time to gain insights, validate assumptions, and communicate work.
Jesse will share the story of how digital and physical visualization tools created the seamless collaboration and rapid design process that powered the TEAGUE partnership with Segway Power Sports.
