Zhang Bohang

Zhang Bohang (also Zhang Xuefeng), the commissioner of Chinese Furniture Association Design Committee, who graduated from Environmental Art Design of Fine Art College at Tsinghua University in Beijing, founded the furniture brand of SENDHOLY in Beijing in 2009, aiming at filling the void in the transition from Chinese traditional furniture to modern furniture of Chinese style.   With such experiences in successfully working with many famous international architects, Zhang has engaged in various cross-border design for more than 15 years, such as architectural design, sight design, indoor and home furniture design.    Now Zhang raises a creative concept of Chinese Modern Home Furnituring of Geomancy and Art by combining Chinese traditional philosophy and modern housing furniture design, for seeking the harmony and unity among humanity, freedom and romantism, as well as the resonation between the design and modern life style.   Up till now, Mr. Zhang has obtained more than 80 patents on his works of Taiji series and Lotus series. And the products based on the two series have been used in many home hotels and clubs and exported to Japan, Korea, and Taiwan, etc. In 2011, one of Zhang’s lotus works won the Red Star Awards of Chinese Creative Design which is the top award in industrial design in China. And the works of both series were exhibited in the Chinese International Creative Design Exhibition in Beijing in 2011 and have been displayed and collected in 798 Art Center and Sunshine International Art Gallery.
