Doug Holt, IDSA | Menasha Packaging
Doug secured his Bachelor’s in Industrial Design from Purdue University in the age of Prismacolor pencils, markers and Canson paper. He has been practicing design for 15 years, specializing in the areas of point-of-purchase display and trade-show design. Currently with Menasha Packaging, he continues to frustrate the entire design team with ‘unbuildable’ corrugated designs. Doug has served in previous years as the Western PA chapter Vice Chair, Secretary and as part of the planning committee for the Mideast District Conference. When not functioning in the capacity of a flashy and hip designer, Doug is a ‘soccer-dad’, an avid YMCA ‘Big Brave’ to his daughter (who seemingly never tires of trying to keep her dad on his toes) and proud owner of a ’97 Honda Accord with over 271,000 miles…

hi doug
i am an aspiring inventor in pittsburgh and while doing some research on prototypes i happened upon an article that mentioned the idsa as a possible source for prototype designing etc.
is there any truth to this??
i am not a company or anything like that. i am just an inventor looking to get his idea off the ground.
