Tucker Viemeister
Tucker Viemeister is Lab Chief of Rockwell Group. As Lab Chief, Tucker built research & development from a couple of guys to a multimillion-dollar business in 3 years. The Lab conceived and mounted “Hall of Fragments” for the 2008 Venice Architecture Biennale, an interactive installation. Tucker has been instrumental in the design of jetBlue’s JFK Marketplace, and Jamie Oliver’s Food Revolution mobile kitchen/classroom and the pushed innovative solutions, like the responsive experiences in the Las Vegas Cosmopolitan hotel lobby and the casino’s feature: the Chandelier Bar. Tucker helped establish frogdesign NY, Razorfish, Springtime USA, and Smart Design (famous for Oxo “GoodGrips”). Work is in MoMA and awards include the first Presidential Design Award. Taught at Pratt, Yale, Parsons and NYU. Architectural League of New York Vice President, Rowena Fund Chair, and is an IDSA Fellow. He holds 32 US utility patents. He is a graduate of Pratt Institute and was named after a car.
