Solar-powered Light Prototype Fabrication Teaching Tool

The Solar Light Prototype facilitates teaching design and prototyping skills to the future designers of the developing world at the International Development Design Summit. Since the majority of them are not designers or engineers—they may be pastors, doctors or bike mechanics, for example—they first must spend a day learning about design before they embark on solving pressing and difficult problems in the developing world.
