US industrial and package designer who received an illustration degree from Carnegie Institute of Technology in 1934, worked in 1935 as a set designer for Norman Bel Geddes, and for a film studio in Hollywood in 1936.

He returned to New York in 1937 to work as a designer of glassware and opened his own office in 1940.
