IDSA Florida Chapter Treasurer:
Mike is currently the owner and chief designer of Vento, acting as an independent consultant to some of the largest and most respected companies in the world.
An Ohio State University graduate, Mike has been designing products since 1994, where he started making professional 2-way radio products for Motorola. His 15 year career has taken him through both the corporate and consulting sides of business, spanning medical equipment, house wares, yacht design, communications, industrial equipment and many other products.
His strength comes from understanding how to get to the underlying user needs, developing innovative and interesting designs, and being able to take these through to production, all the while maintaining the business goals.
Mike is a former chapter chair and treasurer for the IDSA Florida chapter, has worked as an adjunct professor and advisory board member, is an award winning designer, including receiving IDSA Gold and Design of the Decade awards, and has spoken most recently at the MOB Design Conference in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
