Workshop Title:
Teagueduino: How to Stop Worrying and Learn to Love Making Things
MATT WOLFE and ADAM KUMPF
If you’ve ever wanted to use Arduino, but don’t know where to start, Teagueduino is for you. Teagueduino is an electronic board that allows you to realize creative ideas without soldering or knowing how to code and teaches you the ropes of programming and embedded development. In this workshop, we’ll help you discover your inner techno-geek and embrace the awesomeness of making things in real time—even if you’ve only ever programmed your VCR. We’ll start by giving a super brief overview of the Teagueduino platform, provide all the bits and pieces you’ll need to get started and then turn it over to the group to begin realizing ideas in dynamic, fully functioning physical form. Emphasis will be placed on making not talking about making. The session will close with each group sharing their projects out to the workshop attendees.
