Kevin Shinn, IDSA | Dow Corning

IDSA Mideast District Vice President: 2009–2011

Kevin Shinn is the Global Industrial Design Manager at Dow Corning Corporation.  He joined Dow Corning in 2007 to lead the transformation of the company toward design.  Kevin has helped create a new design culture within Dow Corning, leveraging the company’s technical and scientific background to create proven experiences and solutions.  Prior to his current position he was the head of industrial design for Rubbermaid Home Products and has an extensive background in consumer, toy and automotive products.  Kevin was the IDSA Mid East Vice President from 2009 to 2011 and sat on the Board of Directors for IDSA.  He is an alumni of the College for Creative Studies where he holds a degree in industrial design.
