Corwyn W. Strout, IDSA | R&D Leverage

Corwyn Strout is the Leverage Creative Director and Principal of R&D/Leverage in Lee's Summit, Missouri. In 2007, he was hired to pioneer a creative team that grew into Leverage Integrated Design, the creative division of R&D a global supplier of engineering and tooling.  He credits the studio's growth with working with some "seriously and dangerously creative people." His passion is to take an innovative industrial design process and apply it in industries that aren't typically design centric and have a lot of fun in the process.

Design becomes just art when you don't surround yourself with some seriously talented people. This is his DNA, to collaborate with colleagues that constantly raise the bar and redefine what design is, and can be.  Corwyn is most proud to be part of redefining how products and packaging can be developed through pioneering an 'idea to tool' processes in a typically non-design centric industry.
