IDSA Teaching Design to K-12 | Research Inquiry
Tell us your story; we want to know!
When did you realize industrial design was THE discipline for you?
By completing a brief survey, you will provide critical knowledge needed as we move forward in our efforts to bring awareness of the discipline of industrial design into the world of K-12. The survey will request responses to eight simple questions regarding who (or what) caused you to learn of the discipline and when. Each question becomes an opportunity to share your story.

If you have questions, comments or concerns, please feel free to contact Doris Wells-Papanek.
Backstory
Bringing awareness of the discipline of industrial design is a fundamental part of the Industrial Designers Society of America’s (IDSA) efforts to promote design to business. Along with that, IDSA has set a long-term goal of ensuring that all students coming out of school at least know and understand what design is and what it can do. IDSA and Doris Wells-Papanek, M.Ed., principal of Tailored Learning Tools have established a collaborative initiative to assist in meeting this goal.
