Death of the Mouse - Event Recap.
Designers from around the Kansas City area packed the house at the Garmin headquarters to discover how to ditch the mouse.
The night started with refreshments and delicous treats provided by Moxie Catering. Adam Weitzner of Wacom kicked things off by explaining some of the great new wacom features and shared some tips to get the most out of your wacom products. Next Thomas Parel, Industrial designer and Solidwork guru, gave an excellent workshop which dealt with navigating and working in the digital environment. He shared innovative techniques that he uses to "create a sense of flow while using photoshop and solidworks". Then the raffle, sponsored by Wacom, topped things off. Congratulations to the lucky winners Brian Burke and Sean Devlin who walked away with brand new Intuos tablets. The night concluded with some great discussions at Barley's Brewhaus for the "Death of the Mouse After Party" also sponsored by Wacom.
