Dave Bramston

Dave Bramston I/IDSA | Senior Lecturer University of Lincoln (UK)

Dave is the leader of the University of Lincoln (UK) Product Design programme and the author of several design books including Idea Searching for Suisse publisher AVA.

Having completed an MA in Industrial Design in Manchester in 1991 and worked in various design offices in London, Dave developed the undergraduate programme at Lincoln. The programme has become a Student Chapter of the IDSA and works on the collaborative project mbrela with Philadelphia University and San Jose State University.

Dave has assisted a range of UK manufacturers instigate a design capability and is predominantly active in the identification of emerging trends and new product development.

In addition to design, Dave is also an active researcher in the area of microbiology and has presented outcomes from both fields in Europe and the US.
