LEOTUS A/C


LEOTUS A/C is a modular home air-conditioner that offers smarter energy consumption. It will benefit users by the restored use of windows, easier installation, modern aesthetics and quiet operation. The double loop system separates its working parts into two units linked together by a connector. The outdoor unit generates a cold temperature while the indoor unit stores and dispenses cold air inside.

Despite the tiredness, they recognized and remembered the passion for design in each others. The following year, they met again as classmates in their first industrial design class. Yi’s form language and Eunice’s problem solving process fascinated each others. They loved to share their conceptual thoughts and soon were determined to do a collaboration someday. When opportunities with Brown University came up, Eunice and Yi decided it was the chance; on top of the full-class load, they bravely took on the design challenge. They met a wonderful group of people- Andre, Andrea, Beeni, Kipp, Steve and Ploi. And together, they had an amazing time of learning and accomplishing. The challenges in the LEOTUS project is over. But Eunice and Yi are just starting their design journey. To this day, these two aspiring designers miss the sleepless nights filled with design dialogues and promise to cheer for each other on their new journey.
