The "Oscars" of Design. The IDEA Awards treat ecodesign differently. Ecodesign, sustainability and the products effect on its environment are now one of the 7 main criteria that the jury uses on ALL entries to determine excellence. In addition products which pay particular attention to these isses can aslo be awarded a special Responsibility award in addition to their overall winning award/category.
