Sector 67, a creative playground for designers!

Thanks to all those who got out on a Thursday night and met up with IDSA Wisconsin at Sector 67 in Madison.  It was a great chance to meet more great design talent and all-around interesting people.

Thanks to Chris at Sector 67 for hosting us and letting us wander around his great space. http://www.sector67.org/

We had about 15 people from all over Wisconsin show up to take a tour and swap ideas.  The local pie and brew helped the creative conversations that were spawned from the awesome array of tools presented.

Digital Detail Sketches for Production | Jon Polhamus

On November 12th, Jon Polhamus demonstrated how GE Healthcare delineates concept sketches into manufacturing & production.

By utilizing layers in programs like Photoshop & Sketchbook Pro in combination with CAD geometry, Jon developed a best practice in GE Healthcare Global Design that helps engineers, manufacturing & Mechanical CAD Designers understand exactly how to retain the vision of the designer & turn it into reality without getting bogged down in 3D modeling.
