Thanks to all those who got out on a Thursday night and met up with IDSA Wisconsin at Sector 67 in Madison. It was a great chance to meet more great design talent and all-around interesting people.

We had about 15 people from all over Wisconsin show up to take a tour and swap ideas. The local pie and brew helped the creative conversations that were spawned from the awesome array of tools presented.

April 20th, from 7-9pm, IDSA Wisconsin will be hosting a balls out, ping pong tournament at Spin Milwaukee (Downtown Milwaukee, Third Ward).

This event allows you the opportunity to design, build, and race your cart for glory! It's also a great way to showcase your talent and creativity amongst professional industrial designers within Wisconsin.

On November 12th, Jon Polhamus demonstrated how GE Healthcare delineates concept sketches into manufacturing & production.
By utilizing layers in programs like Photoshop & Sketchbook Pro in combination with CAD geometry, Jon developed a best practice in GE Healthcare Global Design that helps engineers,manufacturing & Mechanical CAD Designers understand exactly how to retain the vision of the designer & turn it into reality without getting bogged down in 3D modeling.
