Gabriela Diego, IDSA | Playworld Systems Inc. Industrial Designer
Finalist in the 2009 IDEA awards. NEOS product. Leisure and Recreation category.
I graduated from University of Guadalajara in 1997 with a degree in Industrial Design. Immediately after graduation, I realized I didn’t like the fact that I knew a lot about product development but not much about how product affects businesses. So a couple of years after graduation I was holding a Master’s Degree in Marketing.
I am a product designer with both consultancy and corporate design experience. I have been responsible for conducting user and environment research in healthcare settings, translating insights into project criteria, and developing product concepts in tandem with marketing and engineering teams.
Outside the office, I'm reading up on popular psychology, catching up on classic cinema, or following my favorite stand-up comedians and podcasts.
