Design Thinking, how do you use it?

Over 60 designers, students, teachers, Makers, and entrepreneurs attended the “MakerBot and The Next Industrial Revolution”.  The event was centered on the Maker movement and rapid prototyping technology provided by MakerBot. 

As part of the Kansas City Design Week 2013, IDSA Kansas City in partnership with SEGD present the 3D printing revolution, refreshments, and workshop open house.

Our final event of the year was a casual networking event at Barley's Brewhaus.

KEM STUDIO walked through their kickstarter experience while providing tips and advice about the popular crowd funding website.  They also discussed the recent controversial changes to the platform including the new “hardware and product design project guidelines.”

A diverse group of design super heroes united yet again to partake in another epic design event. Guest took part in an epic design challenge, witnessed a great sketching demonstration, ate some delicious treats and there was even a guest appearance by the Kansas City major, Sly James!

IDSA Kansas City took a field trip to the KC Maker Faire.
