SymphonyTM Graft Delivery System

Client: DePuy AcroMed Inc.

A successfully designed, disposable system that solves the health professions need for a simple bone graft system. The Symphony Graft Delivery System is a sterile device used by a nurse or surgeon in a surgical setting to create a biologically and mechanically enhanced bone graft for implantation in the closing stages of spinal fusion surgery.

SPX Genisys

Client: SPX Corp.

Very good detailing with a better than average interface in a handheld unit puts the Genisys ahead of most handheld automotive diagnostic device used by car repair technicians. The technician connects the appropriate cable to the unit and to the vehicle and accesses diagnostic information through the unit's LCD panel.

LaerdalTM Inflate-A-ShieldTM CPR Barrier

Client: Laerdal Medical Corp.

The design is very intuitive and the steps to follow to use the product are incredibly easy to follow. Inflate-A-Shield is a pocket-sized barrier for use by anyone when administering CPR. The unit creates a sanitary protection and filters and directs the airflow, which prevents contamination passing between victim and rescuer.

CyberCare EHC2000

The basic concept is revolutionary and the simple straight-forward interface design is made for a user population that is not computer friendly. The EHC 2000 allows users to access healthcare resources and advice 24 hours a day as well as videoconference with their care provider. The unit enables users to collect and transfer vital signs data via telecommunications.

BMT Anscore Health Management System

Client: Boston Medical Technologies

A clean design for new technology separates the Anscore Health Management System from other bulky lab products. It is a non-invasive, easy to perform heart rate variability test for use in physician offices. The physician performs the test, the raw data is sent electronically to Boston Medical Technologies where a sophisticated algorithm program crunches the data and sends back the results to the physician in minutes.

Getting a chance to really show off its brand and new packaging graphics, the Tupperware Packaging system was created from scratch for products that had never been sold through retail outlets. The color system features the Tupperware brand cobalt blue and the iconography is the corporate headquarters' globe shaped fountain.

Wing Task Lamp

Using a design language that is unique and compelling, the Wing Task Lamp fits into Haworth's Jump Stuff Work Tools line with an asymmetrical lighting system that directs light sideways toward the work surface, reducing the shadows and glare of a normal desk lamp. The user can customize the orientation of the lamp and the amount of light reaching the desktop.

RIVIERA

Client: Brown Jordan

Classically designed and with a well-formed language, the RIVIERA line is a collection of leisure furniture for indoors and outdoors, including an armed dining chair, a lounge chair and ottoman, an adjustable chaise lounge and a love seat/sofa. The furniture is made of powder-coated aluminum frames upholstered with a hand woven resin. The units come in two colors, mahogany and blonde.
