Launched last year to an enthusiastic regional design community, Chicago Furniture Now was created to foster new ideas in modern furniture design in the Chicago area.

Prior to this appointment, Fluharty served as advanced design manager for the former Prince Corporation (acquired by Johnson Controls in 1996) since 1995, where he oversaw operations at the Holland, Michigan studio.
