Roger Martin is not a designer. That is clear from reading the book. He is however very articulate in translating what designers do into a language that business people should not find hard to understand. Is it an accurate reflection of the designers mind, thinking and methodology. Partially, at best. Does that matter? Not at all! Martin does a fantastic job (better than I have seen any designer do!) of bridging the two worlds.
